The unity of opposites

This exhibition is like a playground, a space where an internal set of rules exists. The playfulness in the work include a two-way bridge, between the inner world of mankind and the outer world which is out of control. Everything that enters the field affects the system, each object contains a revolving internal meaning – It can roar at you or sit quietly on the bench, waiting to seek attention. The exhibition looks static but if we allow ourselves to observe and move around the objects, we will realize that we shouldn’t underestimate the works constant potential in creating movement. The viewer is the engine. The starting point of the viewer is a matter of choice that leads (at any given moment) to the destruction and rehabilitation of the space. In every step you take, a world disappears and a new one is revealed. The works are mostly figurative but nevertheless, they seek to break free from their ancient form and become the later. Through a perpetually, transformative and alchemical game, that challenges the accepted and the known the objects form their own meaning. In this space, a classroom table unleashes its familiar role, it is flipped horizontally and strives to become a living creature. From a block of marble, we will discover a world full of passion, a fast sketch becomes an independent threedimensional unit and a pile of junk is waiting to be discovered by someone who will breathe life into it again and bring about the realization of the potential inherent in it. The exhibition contains a wealth of materials and occurrences that invite a childlike sense of curiosity and full of discovery, humor and surprise.
