    Rujum

My motivation to go on this project is the great love I have for traveling. Since I was a child - hiking and traveling have always been a part of my life. That passion naturally extended to my adult life as well. After eight months of traveling independently abroad, I felt like I could see more clearly the pros and cons of the Israeli traveling style. I observed some of the difficulties of hiking in Israel, which led me to the question that guided me along the way - How could I improve the Israeli hiking experience? I wanted to enhance the good qualities of Israeli hikers, so I made e research of what's already out there and came up with my answer to the original question as well as other pain points I discovered. I created a mobile app called Rujum Rujum provides the Israeli hiker with practical information about hiking trails and sleeping locations. It includes a unique navigation mode meant to help the user find even more information and points of interest along the hike. Besides practical information, Rujum combines gamification elements. Gamification can encourage the user to come back to the app while looking for inspiration for the next trip. Using curiosity and challenges as a tool for learning and exploring nature.
