Memory-inspired furniture Memory is dynamic. Every time we retrieve a memory, we change it, add to it and subtract information from it. Our childhood memories are the strongest, since at an age when everything is new and surprising, the stories, experiences, and textures are imprinted more significantly in our memory. As in memory, in design too, the boundaries blur and layers create a new and complete object. In the project, I collect objects and experiences from my grandparents’ house and translate the distortions and disruptions created in memory over time into objects that shape a new space.
