    Diasporic Heritage

The project deals with the concept of diasporic heritage and identity, specifically the Armenian diaspora. Some Armenian communities have assimilated into the host society since they do not have the basic facilities to preserve their identity and heritage. The communal space and school are the main facilities that through teaching and bringing the society together help to enlighten, consolidate the community and protect the future generations. The aim is to enrich one’s identity and cultural diversity in the diaspora. Hence, the proposed project is an Arts & Crafts Centre in Bethlehem inspired from deciphering the elements of identity and .heritage in the diaspora
