At the end of my third year, I presented a project exhibition about New York City, one of my favorite cities in the world. I decided to pack everything for a semester break, found a cheap flight and a small Airbnb apartment in Brooklyn and just flew with all my gear for 10 days stay. I tried to capture the special moments of the street and the city. for me street photography is something I have always connected with and I think it is an amazing place to capture special and lively situations, especially capturing the decisive moment. The subway has always interested me, the smell in the air, the smoke coming out, the colorful people, the waiting time on the platform, the guy at the kiosk that shouts and trying to sell the daily newspapers, the narration inside the car of the subway, the subway drivers getting their heads out, trying peeking into the platform, the relentless running of businessmen hurrying To their business meetings, the density in the car, kind of a place of refuge to the intensity of the city above. In my opinion it is one of the most special places in the city. This serie is all about Street Photography. The city is full of surprises, one-time opportunities that photographers just lurk for, it’s something that’s always been on my mind, on the one hand I want to live the moment, on the other I think about wanting to capture that moment forever, and it’s a conflict that has always occupied me. I think it stick with Urban Exploration. Wandering around the city can bring me to special places, the big city, its power, the buildings and the industry, these are things that have always caught my eye, I think architecture brings so much to photography and image, texture and symmetry is something that leads me to create frame and inspiration and present the object as something out of this world.
